Kalidasa's Meghdutam The Cloud Messenger | Audio Jukebox | Vocal | World...

The Meghadutam is a classic poem of 111 stanzas by the great poet Kalidasa. The poetry has the yaksha, who has been exiled by King Kubera for not performing his duties, request a passing cloud to convey a message to his dear wife who lives on Mount Kailas. Composed by Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and rendered by the beautiful voices of Hariharan and Kavita Krishnamurthy, every part of the descriptions of various places comes alive in our minds. Great justice has been done to the divine and romantic ambience created by the poet in his verses in Sanskrit.
